No More Pain

Author's Note: This piece is a battle that I have been overcoming lately and I'm proud.

When the days are perfect

When there is no more rain

When you can look outside your window

Without feeling pain

Your blood runs still

It can't be real

How could you be living

Because you thought you could not heal

It's impossible

It's tricking me, though

It has to be real

It says it itself

I'm possible

I did make it through

Tears

Sitting on their bed

Minding their business

Reading a book

Thinking, just thinking

How could this have happened to me?

They hear the school bus pass

They get up to see if they are back, really

Or are they just dreaming

They close their eyes

And sit on the floor and cry

Just cry

And no one is there to say it will be okay

Because it won't

It never will

They lost their pride and joy

They lost what makes them smile when they are sad

And they can never have it back

Ghost

Author's Note: This piece was inspired by a ghost, but a ghost with no face. Maybe just a figment of somebodies imagination.

I see a shadow

A glimpse in the light

A puff of white

No particular shape

A blur

Confusion

It's moving now

Close to me

I'm not scared

But am I crazy?

Can you reach me?

Author's Note: This piece is about having great success and not letting negativity bring you down.

                                                  H
I am floating                       C
      High                           A
                                      E
So        you will never R  me

My success is great

But it can’t go to my head

But still, I shall not let those who bring me D
                                                                          O
Take away what I have going                        W
                                                        N

Tougher

Author's Note: This is a piece about two people fighting and it became a mental battle after a while because they stopped talking.

You try your hardest to destroy me

You try your hardest to make me feel like nothing

You try your hardest to give me pain

You try your hardest to get inside my head

You try your hardest to ignore me

But honey,

There is no way to make me go away

I am tougher than your brain leads me up to be

Weak, Or Not?

Part 1

Author's Note: This piece, Part 1 and Part 2 are combined pieces. Interpret what you will of them, however, it does have a story. If I say it, it will give it away.

The doctors say, "You have don't have a disease"

That is what they call you

The doctors say, "You seem healthy"

They try their hardest to hurt you on the outside

The doctors say, "There's nothing wrong"

They find everything imaginable that's wrong

The doctors say, "An apple a day, that will keep me away"

I think to myself, briefly

I've eaten my apples

Why aren't they gone?

Part 2

You're a sickening disease

It runs through their blood

You torture them inside

Simply, by being better

Stronger

A shield that will not wither

Sturdy, firm

Plainly, so

They never thought you would be the one

To stay so..

It's Right There

Author's Note: This is just saying that you should look behind how a person acts and talks, because what you think they are thinking, is totally different from what they probably are.

There are lies

Behind that nasty smirk

There are lies

Behind that slick of words

There are lies

Inside their very thoughts

There are lies

In where you figured

There were not
